Traffic stop leads to arrest for marijuana, meth – Holmes County Times Advertiser

HOLMES COUNTY– A Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputy stopped a red Chevrolet pickup on Highway 81 on June 16. The driver was identified as Daniel Driver, 23, of Ponce de Leon.

During the stop the deputy noticed the smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Driver then produced a plastic baggie containing marijuana prompting a search of the vehicle.

While searching the truck, the deputy found a meth pipe and a baggie of methamphetamine.

Driver was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
