Nearly 8,000 runners have registered for the 2022 Cleveland Marathon, including 85-year old Jim Mackert who has run more than 40 races since the event began. The runners will follow a course that will take them through the city this weekend. The three-day event began in 1978. (cleveland.com) Seventy new provisional licenses for new medical marijuana dispensaries, including Green Power OH LLC of Lakewood, were approved by the Ohio Board of Pharmacy on Monday. The business owners will have to build their spaces in compliance with the state’s law and regulations. When each business passes the Board of Pharmacy inspection the Board will grant it a certificate of operation to open. (cleveland.com) Twenty-seven year old Michael Sloan was sentenced to 43 months in federal prison for setting fire to Rebol Restaurant on Public Square during the May 2020 riots. Sloan was caught on videotape starting and then feeding the fire with napkins, papers and other combustibles.
