3 arrested for alleged operation of illegal marijuana dispensary – Bakersfield Now

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/FOX58) — Three Bakersfield residents were arrested on charges of allegedly operating an illegal marijuana dispensary on Brundage Lane and related drug charges, said the Bakersfield Police Department.

On Thursday, Jan. 18, at around 2 p.m., BPD detectives, officers, and Kern County District Attorney’s Office investigators executed a search warrant at an illegal marijuana dispensary in the 2700 block of Brundage Lane.

Officials arrested Brenda Hernandez, 29, Mary Cavazos, 29, and Jose Gomez, 45. All three are charged with alleged charges associated with operating a drug house, possession of marijuana for sale, possession of psilocybin for sale, and a prohibited marijuana business.
