ACK Natural Dispensary reopens after seven months – The Inquirer and Mirror

By Brian Bushard

(May 27, 2022) ACK Natural, the island’s second dispensary to open following the legalization of marijuana sales, has reopened its doors, nearly eight months after the state Cannabis Control Commission shut it down for improper testing protocols. It got the green light to start selling cannabis Friday afternoon.

“We’re excited to be open for the 2022 season and to welcome back the public,” co-owner Mike Sullivan said.

The dispensary, on Tomahawk Drive,  opened to the public Friday afternoon. It had only been open for three months when it was forced to close their doors.

For now, the dispensary is selling cannabis flower. Additional items, like edibles, will follow, Sullivan said. It has been growing cannabis throughout the closure. The only thing on hold was its license to sell, issued by the state Cannabis Control Commission.
