Nicole Aiken owns Cloverfields Dispensary located near Central and I-135. She shared a surveillance video with 12 News showing two people breaking into her business, not through the front door, but a tiny window less than a foot away. Inside, they stole merchandise and left behind $4,000 in damages.
Surveillance video shows two people break into Cloverfield Dispensary Thursday night causing $4,000 in damage.
“My first thought wasn’t like, ‘Oh no, the money.’ You know right? My first thought was like ‘Man that really sucks.’ Cause like I do this job to help people like I was helped,” she said.
Aiken, who was diagnosed with multiple health issues, including cancer, said she’s hopeful the video will help police catch the crooks.
“Something like this is so minuscule in the grand schemes of life and the hardships that people face every day,” said Aiken. “So, you know, like as much as it may try and knock me down, that’s not going to work.”
Aiken said she’s unsure when her business will reopen.
