STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Two of three Staten Island Community Boards will review applications for new retail adult-use weed dispensaries and a third will hold a North Shore Action Plan question-and-answer session during public meetings this week.
Community Board 1
Community Board 1 will host a full board meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 10, at 6:30 p.m. in St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 347 Davis Ave., West Brighton.
During the meeting, representatives from the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) and the Office of City Councilmember Kamillah M. Hanks will conduct a North Shore Action Plan question-and-answer session.
Also during the meeting, Dr. Samuel Clark will discuss the women’s shelter on Victory Boulevard.
Community Board 2
Community Board 2 will hold a joint meeting of the Public Service and Health Services committees on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at 7 p.m.
During the meeting, committee members will review New York State Office of Cannabis Management applications for adult-use retail cannabis dispensaries at the following locations:
690 Gulf Ave., Unit C, Bloomfield1445 Richmond Ave., Graniteville1692 Richmond Rd., Dongan Hills
Committee members will also review a liquor license application for 460 Bradley Ave., Meiers Corners.
The meeting will be held in The Regina McGinn Education Center, 475 Seaview Ave., second floor, rooms A and B.
