Driver crashes car into medical-marijuana dispensary – mlive.com

OTTAWA COUNTY, MI – A motorist early Friday, July 16, crashed his car into a medical-marijuana dispensary, causing significant damage to the building, police said.

The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. at Pure West Compassion Club on North River Avenue in Holland Township, Ottawa County sheriff’s deputies said.

The driver, a 26-year-old Holland-area man, was driving a Lexus south on 136th Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle at River Avenue. The vehicle crashed into the building, pushing it off its foundation and causing significant damage, police said.

No one was in the building when the crash occurred. The driver, who was not hurt, was arrested for traffic offenses, police said. The crash is under investigation.
