Element 7 cannabis dispensary in Willits had its grand opening July 1 and 2. Turtle Island Tacos and Smokin’ G’s and Big D’s BBQ parked their food trucks near the store providing food options for patrons.
There was a mechanical bull for those wanting to test their skills and riders received a complimentary preroll if they stayed on for eight seconds. The first 50 customers each day to spend $100 or more at the shop received a free bong.
The official ribbon cutting occurred on Saturday, although the store had been open for roughly a month. This event celebrated the tenth dispensary the company has opened in California.
Element 7 carries about 350 different products, and is located in Brown’s Corner in Willits.
Element 7 is a private company based out of San Francisco and owned by Illinois native, Founder and CEO Robert DiVito. The first dispensary opened in Rio Dell last year and the company now owns stores as far south as Chula Vista, with plans to open 20 more stores this year.
Chief Operating Officer Josh Black said they source products from the biggest brands and manufacturers in the state, including West Coast Cure, Wild, Kiva and Jungle Boys.
