Fine Fettle wins zoning approval for Manchester recreational cannabis dispensary – Hartford Business Journal

Fine Fettle has received zoning approval in Manchester for its pending equity joint venture recreational cannabis dispensary application.

Officials from Fine Fettle met with the Manchester Planning and Zoning Commission this week to discuss opening a recreational cannabis dispensary at 91 Hale Road. After a public hearing and conversation among zoning officials, the PZC unanimously approved a special exception permit for the business.

According to information from Manchester Senior Planner Megan Pilla, 91 Hale Road is a 2.33-acre parcel in the town’s comprehensive urban development zone. Fine Fettle would occupy one of the three existing tenant spaces in the 4,900-square-foot building.

Fine Fettle COO Benjamin Zachs said the company now awaits approval from the state for its equity joint venture application, which has already been submitted. He declined to disclose his social equity partners, but said that announcement would come after the state approves the equity joint venture application.

“We and our partners are super excited, and we can’t wait to be able to do this,” Zachs said.

Zachs said Manchester town officials did their due diligence in reviewing the application and were supportive of the dispensary franchise coming to town.
