Five arrested in marijuana dispensary burglary in Napa – San Francisco Chronicle

Five suspects have been arrested following a burglary at a cannabis dispensary in Napa, according to a police statement.

Officers responded to an alarm at Perfect Union marijuana dispensary at 5:28 a.m. Monday on the 1700 block of Industrial Way, Napa police said. Real-time video surveillance showed multiple suspects, all hooded and masked, entering the building after driving a vehicle into it, police said. There, they filled three garbage bags full of products, police said.

Within three minutes, police officials arrived on the scene, but the alleged thieves fled in three separate vehicles, driving on sidewalks to avoid officers. After ensuring there was no one inside the dispensary, Napa police pursued the suspects.

Napa County sheriff’s deputies and American Canyon police located one of the vehicles, but the driver led them on a pursuit into Vallejo, police said, which resulted in a single-vehicle collision. Though the four occupants fled on foot, they were apprehended by police, who also found products from the dispensary in the car. One suspect sustained a minor injury from a Vallejo police K-9 dog bite, according to police, but was medically cleared.
