Govt dispensary burgled in Lohara, medicine kits, computer stolen – The Tribune India

The Daba police have booked an unidentified person for a theft that took place at the government dispensary in Lohara.

According to dispensary staff, the thief broke the door locks of the dispensary and stole 15 Fateh kits, seven medicine kits, a computer and its accessories, printer and scrap items from the Health and Wellness Centre in Lohara.

Community Health Officer Kuljit Kaur stated that all employees had gone home after locking the dispensary on September 29.

She said when the staff reached the dispensary in the morning on September 30, they found the locks of doors broken. When they checked inside the dispensary rooms, various items were missing.

Investigating officer Paramjit Singh said the dispensary staff said an unidentified person had entered the dispensary after jumping its boundary wall.

The investigation is underway to trace the thief, he said.
