The marijuana dispensary slated for the corner of Huron Avenue and Quay Street in downtown Port Huron may be open in just a couple months, according to the operator and property owner.
Port Huron planning commissioners signed off on a special use permit for JARS Cannabis to open its retail outfit in the corner storefront on Tuesday.
Earlier in the day, JARS CEO Raymond Abro said in a statement, “While we plan to be operational within 90 days upon receiving the necessary approvals, we are very eager to start serving Port Huron customers and actively working to expedite the process so we can open our doors within 60 days after receiving approvals.”
