Judge denies Green Springs dispensary request to stop license revocation – KATV

The Hot Springs circuit court judge has denied Green Springs Medical Dispensary request to halt their license revocation.

The court says the dispensary showed complete disregard for rules and regulations from the Department of Health and did not comply with the ABC commission.

Green Springs Medical Dispensary in Hot Springs still doesn’t have its license after last week’s hearing with the Arkansas Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Board.

This is the first medical marijuana dispensary to have lost its license since medical marijuana began opening up in Arkansas in 2019.

Dragan Vicentic, the owner of the dispensary, had filed against the state, challenging the revocation of his license. In today’s hearing, the judge announced the request to stay the issue is postponed, for now.

The Green Springs Medical Dispensary license in Hot Springs was initially revoked because of violations including failure to maintain proper inventory records, missing products, expired inventory sales, and improper medication labeling.

Scott Hardin, Spokesperson for the Department of Finance and Administration, tells us, “The largest issue that’s been brought to light though all of this is expired product.”
