LAS CRUCES, N.M. (KFOX14/CBS4) — A Las Cruces man was arrested Tuesday morning after he allegedly stole $80,000 worth of product from a marijuana dispensary.
Christopher Stubbs, 28, was arrested by Las Cruces Police Department officers around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday after he allegedly stole $80,000 worth of product from a local weed dispensary, court documents state.
According to court documents, LCPD officers responded to a burglary call at a weed dispensary along the 1000 block of El Paseo Rd around 9:45 a.m.
A witness reportedly saw two men hanging around the back of the business and then walking in.

Minutes later, court documents state, the two men exited the building carrying duffle bags.
Officers subsequently located Stubbs near the cannabis store and asked to search his duffle bag, court documents describe.
The officers reportedly found roughly two pounds of weed and other cannabis products, which the dispensary’s owner priced at $80,000.
Stubbs was taken to the Dona Ana County Detention Facility and is facing three charges including larceny over $20,000, conspiracy to commit a non-residential burglary and possession of synthetic cannabinoids.
