Medical marijuana has been legal in Florida for the last seven years. And in those seven years, over 30 medical marijuana dispensary locations have cropped up in almost every neighborhood in the county.
This week, West Palm Beach’s City Commission voted to put a cap on how many dispensaries can do business in the city.
West Palm city commissioners voted to keep the number of dispensaries allowed to no more than nine (excluding any existing storefronts). West Palm Beach currently has more than nine medical marijuana dispensaries.
