Medical marijuana dispensary with drive-thru to open in Montgomery County – 69News WFMZ-TV

Zen Leaf Norristown will hold a grand opening Friday in Montgomery County for a medical marijuana dispensary with a drive-thru window.

The dispensary is the 18th in Pennsylvania owned by Verano Holdings, parent company of Zen Leaf.

At 11 a.m., there will be a ceremonial ribbon cutting at the 436 Egypt Road, West Norriton, dispensary. A Bryn Mawr Trust bank once operated at the site.

The drive-thru window adds convenience for customers who make online orders, according to Zen Leaf.

“Opening Zen Leaf Norristown further enhances our footprint in this key market,” George Archos, founder and chief executive officer of Verano, said in a statement.

Montgomery County has a population of about 861,000 people, third in Pennsylvania behind Philadelphia County and Allegheny County (Pittsburgh).

Zen Leaf Norristown will be open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Vernano is based in Chicago and operates in 13 states. It has 138 dispensaries and 14 cultivation and processing facilities, according to a press release.
