Mercedes driver hit teen girl in Chelsea cannabis dispensary parking lot, police say – MassLive.com

A 14-year-old girl from Everett received life-threatening injuries when the driver of a Mercedes Benz sedan struck her shortly after 8 p.m. on Sunday in the parking lot of a Chelsea cannabis dispensary, according to Massachusetts State Police spokesman David Procopio.

Police charged Ceserino Borelli, 44, of Watertown with “numerous motor vehicle offenses” after they say he smashed through parking lots at RISE Cannabis and a neighboring Dunkin’ on Beacham Street, striking multiple parked cars in addition to the teenage pedestrian.

At about 8:10 p.m. on Sunday, police say the Mercedes, driven by Borelli, left the road and sped into the Dunkin parking lot at 276 Beacham St., causing property damage, and then drove through a metal fence surrounding the RISE parking lot next door at 200 Beacham St.

The Mercedes sedan struck a parked Mercedes SUV, which was occupied, and then crashed into the teen, who was standing in the parking lot, critically injuring her, according to police.

The driver hit one more car, a Nissan SUV, before leaving the car and lying down on the sidewalk, police said.
