La Salle County’s second ever cannabis dispensary is ready to roll.
Stash is opening Wednesday on 38th Street in Peru. It’s going into the space formerly occupied by Jimmy John’s and Western Factory Outlet. The dispensary’s website says it’ll be open 7 days a week from 10 in the morning until 10 at night.
Reed Construction out of Chicago was behind the renovation. They say the job included 30,000 square feet of exterior site renovations including a new parking lot and curb alignment.
The city of Peru has conducted traffic studies and they’ve said the dispensary shouldn’t lead to any traffic issues despite nearby businesses like Wendy’s, Big Lots and Rural King.
