Police nab supplies from unlicensed dispensar

Oxnard police confiscated supplies from an unpermitted marijuana dispensary on Friday afternoon, according to police.

The investigation took place around 3:30 p.m. at Oxnard Novelties, 102 E. Fifth Street.

Officers assigned to the neighborhood policing team were conducting a business check with Oxnard Code Enforcement at the establishment.

While conducting the check, Oxnard police found marijuana packaging materials and THC vape pens. An employee at the business told police that the store was converting to a marijuana dispensary. However, the business was not licensed to sell tobacco, marijuana or THC products, according to police.

Drug enforcement officers were called to the scene assist with the investigation. Detectives seized an unspecified amount of marijuana, concentrated cannabis, vape pens, THC cartridges and THC-infused edible candy.

Trio of teens arrested after alleged attack

Police arrested three teenagers in Simi Valley Friday night after one of the teens allegedly attacked a woman whose vehicle they had reportedly vandalized.

An officer responded around 8:10 p.m. to the 1800 block of Erringer Road, the Simi Valley Police Department reported.

The victim said her vehicle had been vandalized by a group of nearby juveniles, two females and a male, all age 15-16 and residents of Simi Valley, officials said.
