Publicly traded firm out of Arkansas purchases recreational marijuana dispensary in Trinidad, company to release details soon – thechronicle-news.com

A publicly traded investment firm out of Arkansas, SPO Networks, Inc., recently announced they had purchased their first recreational marijuana dispensary in Trinidad.  

The company has yet to say which dispensary but hopes to be able to reveal that information soon.

According to the company, which launched just last year, it has a business plan of acquiring various cannabis-related real estate and assets through structured financing. SPO’s cannabis activities will include the cultivation, processing, and wholesaling of cannabis and cannabis extracts in Colorado to licensed retailers and wholesalers.

Besides marijuana cultivation and sale companies, SPO is also invested in two recycling facilities in Missiouri.

The company said they already own cultivation sites and has recently entered into a pre-order agreement to deliver its proprietary strain of certified cannabis seeds to a chain of 10 third-party dispensaries in Colorado. Now, it will also be selling direct to consumers via its first wholly owned retail dispensary, to sell its proprietary brands in Trinidad.
