South Dakota Lottery officials oversee selection process.

PIERRE, S.D. — The recipients for the 15 certificates for medical cannabis dispensaries approved by the Rapid City Common Council have been decided.
On Wednesday, March 9, the South Dakota Lottery oversaw a drawing from among the 47 provisional dispensary licenses that the Council approved in 2021.
Each provisional licensee was assigned a number, 1-47. Lottery officials then used their random number generator. The first 15 received certificates.
The 15 in the order selected are:
