High Country Healing has been in Summit County since 2009, and the store’s managers say they have long prioritized customer service. General manager Garret Neale said the dispensary prides itself on creating a welcoming environment where first-time dispensary goers do not feel intimidated.
“I tell my bud tenders: ‘When somebody who hasn’t been to a dispensary before comes in and asks what some people might think of as silly questions, that’s your time to shine,’” Neale said “Other places’ bud tenders might get upset by that. But you need to look at it as an opportunity to be a good thing in this person’s life and inform them about the products they’re about to purchase.”
He noted something else that sets this dispensary apart from others in the county is relentless support from Summit County residents. He said the dispensary looks to support locals just as much as they support High Country Healing.
High Country Healing also makes a point to be involved with the community. It has long been a participant in the Tee It Up tournament at Keystone
