Revolution Dispensary to host grand opening Friday in Normal – The Pantagraph

NORMAL — A new adult-use cannabis dispensary plans to open its doors to the public this Friday in north Normal.

Revolution Dispensary, 1609 Northbrook Drive, will celebrate with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, followed by a public grand opening from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.

Shoppers visiting during the grand opening will have an opportunity to get deals and discounts.

The dispensary will be open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

“Customer satisfaction is the cornerstone of what we do,” stated Mark Steinmetz of Scottsdale, Arizona, who submitted the application through Illinois Health & Wellness LLC. “We are eager to share knowledge and premium products from renowned local cultivator Revolution Cannabis, located in nearby Delavan, and other top cultivators in the state.”

The Normal Zoning Board of Appeals initially rejected the dispensary’s application on two occasions: the first in March 2023 after residents raised traffic safety concerns about the proposed location, and the second in April 2023, when the board based its rejection on an objection from a nearby day care center owner.
