In honor of 4/20, an unofficial holiday celebrating cannabis culture, Rise Dispensary recently published a cookbook showing ways to get creative in the kitchen with cannabis.
Available online, “Smoke It. Eat It. Drink It” is a free download for adults 21 and up featuring 25 cannabis-infused recipes—from mains dishes, such as herb grilled cheese and hot honey pizza, to desserts, like choco-canna-swirl banana bread and no-bake oatmeal cookies.
The e-cookbook also includes recipes for basics – like canna-butter, canna-oil, canna-honey and canna-almond butter – along with drinks ranging from mocktails to coffee to cider.
Rise, a subsidiary of Chicago-based Green Thumb Industries, has recreational dispensaries in Paterson and Bloomfield as well as a medicinal storefront in Paramus. Altogether, Rise has 77 locations across 14 U.S. markets.
