Second cannabis shop opens, more in line to secure final approval – Tank Town Media

A new cannabis store is set to have a grand opening on Saturday, and a few more are moving closer to being able to open.

Embarc Tracy at 2706 Pavilion Parkway opened on Dec. 19, and tomorrow the Tracy Chamber of Commerce will officially welcome the business to town.

It is the second cannabis dispensary to open in Tracy under Proposition 64, the voter-approved ballot measure from 2016 that legalized adult-use cannabis. The other, Tracy Cannabis Collective on 10th Street, opened in July 2023.

Embarc Tracy Manager Alexis Vivero said that the soft opening was planned for Dec. 15, but it took a few more days to get squared away with all of the city’s requirements.
