THACKERVILLE, Okla. (KTEN) — A second man is now in custody in connection with the attempted robbery of a Thackerville medical marijuana dispensary that turned deadly last month.

Originally reported as a two-person operation, authorities discovered there was a third accomplice in the July 21 crime.

Austin Pate, 18, was arrested by Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agents in Calera on Wednesday evening. He is facing charges of murder, conspiracy, and robbery.

Clarence Hill, 20, was arrested several days later on the same charges.

The OSBI has still not released the name of the suspect who was shot and killed by the dispensary’s clerk.
