FLORISSANT — A Jennings teen was charged Friday with having role in a burglary where a pickup truck was rammed through the front of a north St. Louis County dispensary.
Donnell Helslip-Hill, 17, was certified as an adult and charged in St. Louis County with second-degree burglary, stealing and property damage.
He is accused of working with others on Aug. 15, 2022, to ram a Ford F-150 pickup truck through a wall of Cookies, a dispensary at 11088 New Halls Ferry Road outside of Florissant.
Heslip-Hill is accused of then helping steal more than $25,000 worth of marijuana products from the business.
The damage to the building, which had just opened for business the previous month, was “extensive,” according to charging documents.
St. Louis County police found the pickup after the burglary and identified Heslip-Hill’s fingerprints on one of Cookies’ marijuana products inside, charging documents say.
