Two New Cannabis Dispensaries Are Coming To Lenox Hill – Patch

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Lenox Hill is getting lit up by two new legal dispensaries. One aims to take over a former “dark retail” space on First Avenue, and another seeks a mid-block location formerly occupied by an East 73rd Street cigar bar.

Both presented their plans in a Community Board 8 meeting Tuesday night — and both had questions from community members, but one application faced nearly two hours of grilling questions and concerns from neighbors.

WhiteboxTHC LLC (334 East 73rd St.)

The first of two cannabis dispensaries was interrogated by concerned East 73rd Street neighbors for nearly two hours, at one point forcing a Community Board 8 facilitator to plead for civility.
