Ice-T is opening a cannabis dispensary in New Jersey this year Snoop Dogg’s venture capital firm led a seed funding round for TSUMo Snacks Incannex ramps up development and manufacturing of IHL-216A drug

New Jersey has given Ice-T the green light to open a cannabis dispensary in Jersey City.

The rapper turned actor turned cannabis connessieur has teamed up with The Medicine Woman for the new venture, with plans to open a 460sqm dispensary in the coming months.

But he’s not the only rapper expanding their cannabis business.

Snoop Dogg’s cannabis venture capital firm Casa Verde has led a $4m seed funding round to back TSUMo Snacks – a cannabis brand offering tortilla chips and cheese puffs infused with a 10-milligram dose of THC per bag.

“With all edibles, you have to stay within the 10% variance in terms of the dosing — and when you’re talking about chips, which are irregular, it’s not the easiest thing in the world to do,” TSUMo co-founder and CEO Caroline Yeh said.
