The Woodland Cannabis Collective will be hosting an open house for its cannabis dispensary from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30 at 163 Court St. in Woodland.
The collective applied for a permit for the dispensary and said it is looking forward to serving the community and building a positive working relationship with its neighbors.
“We are a group of local longtime holistic health practitioners who are focused on providing high-quality products and compassionate service to our members,” the collective’s press release stated.
The collective also highlighted its efforts to focus on the best practices in all aspects of the business arguing that “product and premises safety, member education, compassionate care and environmentally conscientious practices are the top priority.”
The collective held a previous open house in April to introduce the community to its new location when it applied for a conditional use permit to operate a storefront cannabis dispensary at the Court Street location.
Laura Mendez, CEO of the collective, said in April that the collective will not do anything with the building until they go through the application process.
