The dispensary would be part of a new development of buildings that would also include a Casey’s gas station and a quick-service restaurant.

The proposal has the support of the Danville Area Planning and Zoning Commission, which unanimously recommended approval on June 6.

The Danville City Council’s agenda includes documents that detail Mariworks would buy the land from Vermilion Development, Inc. for $350,000 for the two parcels of land that would house the dispensary and the restaurant.
