Visitors to Ethereal Gold Dispensary in Waukesha, Wisconsin, can use an automated self-serve kiosk to buy cannabis and mushroom products that are legal in Wisconsin, according to a shepherdexpress.com report.
A kiosk is available 24/7 in the vestibule of the dispensary. A second kiosk is available at Brookfield Square in Brookfield while a third is at Salty Toad bar and restaurant in Waukesha.
A fourth machine will be installed in a yet-to-be-determined location in the dispensary.
The machines feature an age verification system and are monitored by surveillance cameras.
Customers tap the screen to scroll through 30-plus smokables, edibles, flowers and tinctures.
When the customer chooses an item, the machine displays a QR code. The customer then uses their camera app to scan the QR code to open an app that asks them to scan their ID. The app also takes a selfie to make sure the ID matches the person.
Once the age is verified, the user can pay via credit card and the item dispenses from a chute at the bottom of the machine.
