FORSYTH, Ill. (WAND) – The first of two public meetings planned to discuss a potential cannabis dispensary coming to Forsyth is set for Thursday night.
The Village Board has been approached about the possibility of allowing a cannabis dispensary. The Board said it does not yet have information on the specific location or the name of the business.
However, they want to hear the thoughts and opinions of residents at one of two upcoming Public Meetings. The investors will also be available to answer questions.
The meetings will be held June 20 and July 11 at 6 p.m. at 268 S Elwood Street, the Forsyth Public Library.
