SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Zaza Green Cannabis, a destination for cannabis products, is set to host a special event featuring author and former international cannabis smuggler Tim McBride.

Zaza Green, located at 311 Page Blvd in Springfield, is running the event during their 420 celebration weekend on April 19th and April 20th.
Supported by Glorious Cannabis and their ‘Smoke Weed Instead’ program, along with Garden Remedies, Happy Valley, and Green Gold, the event will feature Timothy McBride, the former cannabis smuggler known for his book “Saltwater Cowboys: The Rise and Fall of a Marijuana Empire.”
McBride, considered one of the biggest pot smugglers in American history, will be accompanied by Springfield podcast legend, Christopher DiMauro, to record two live podcast episodes at Zaza Green Cannabis Dispensary. The first podcast was recorded from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, and the second live episode is being recorded from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
