The city of Morris could be getting another cannabis dispensary business. The Morris Planning Commission tonight heard from Joseph Phillips and 50 Gore LLC as they were requesting to change the allowed number of license cannabis dispensaries in the city of Morris from one to two.
Phillips said the new dispensary would be located at 50 Gore Road.

Morris City Planner Mike Hoffman spoke with WCSJ after the meeting about the plans and security.

No one from the public spoke during a hearing that was held during the meeting. The commission recommended the text amendment to the Morris City Council for their consideration at a future meeting.
If approved by the Morris City Council, Phillips said the inside of the current building will be renovated as the business could open later this year.
