Medical Marijuana Commission approves sale of Conway dispensary – Arkansas Times

NEW OWNER: The Medical Marijuana Commission approved an ownership change at Harvest Cannabis Dispensary.

The owner of Osage Creek Cultivation will become the owner of a Conway dispensary after getting approval from the state Medical Marijuana Commission during a meeting Thursday afternoon.

Mary Trulove, who owns 55% of the Berryville cultivation operation, will become the majority owner of Harvest Cannabis Dispensary in Conway. 

After the transaction, Trulove will own 51% of the business through Harvest Acquisition LLC, while Elizabeth Barnett of Little Rock will own 27% and Mizan Rahman of Little Rock will own 22%.

Before the transaction, Barnett owned the largest share of the business with 41%, followed by Rahman with 34%. Before the sale, Rebecca Nickerson of Bend, Oregon, owned 20% and John Hunt of Westminster, Colorado, owned 5% but neither will own any shares of the business going forward. 

The commission also received notice that Berner’s by Good Day Farm dispensary in Little Rock will change its name to Good Day Farm Little Rock and Hash and Co. dispensary in Pine Bluff will change its name to Dark Horse Cannabis. Name changes require notice to the commission but do not require approval.
