N.J. now houses more than 100 dispensaries: Here’s where they are all located – NJ.com

New Jersey passed the milestone of 100 medical and recreational cannabis dispensaries earlier this year.

The state voted in favor of the legalization of cannabis in 2021 and has since opened dozens of pot shops.

There are currently more than 120 dispensaries throughout the Garden State’s 21 counties.

New Jersey’s cannabis market earned over $800 million in medicinal and recreational cannabis sales in 2023 on top of over $500 million in 2022 and year-to-date sales in 2024.

The market has now earned more than $1.3 billion since recreational sales kicked off.

Sales at more than 100 Garden State dispensaries are expected to reach beyond $1 billion in 2024, according to the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission (NJ-CRC).

As cannabis enthusiasts prepare for the culture’s 4/20 holiday, many users are wondering where they can shop for celebration supplies.
