Salinas discussing proposal for South Main Street cannabis dispensary – KSBW Monterey

The city of Salinas Planning Commission will be discussing a proposal to open a cannabis dispensary in South Salinas.Salinas council member Steve McShane said that they are looking for community feedback. A public hearing will be held before the Salinas Planning Commission meeting on April 3 at 4 p.m. Plans will also be presented during the meeting, said McShane. The dispensary would be built by converting the Legacy Furniture building across the street from the Star Market shopping Center on South Main Street. McShane added that neighbors and businesses within 300 feet will be notified. Public comments can also be emailed to publiccomment@ci.salinas.ca.us.
