Earlier this month, Tuttle and the band—fiddler Bronwyn Keith-Hynes, mandolinist Dominick Leslie, bass player Shelby Means, and banjo player Kyle Tuttle—earned their second consecutive Grammy nomination for Best Bluegrass album for their critically acclaimed new album, City of Gold, released this past summer on Nonesuch Records. The nomination comes on the heels of three IBMA Bluegrass Music Awards wins, including Album of the Year Award for their 2022 debut album, Crooked Tree (which won the Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album); and Song of the Year for that album’s title track, written by Tuttle and Melody Walker; and Female Vocalist of the Year for Tuttle (which she won last year as well).
Tuttle and the band bring music from City of Gold to Lake Wales, Florida, this Friday, as part of Orange Blossom Revue, before heading to California for a sold-out show at The Troubadour in
