April 20, also known as 4/20, is set to be celebrated for the first time in the North Country on Saturday by two recreational marijuana dispensaries — Elevate ADK in Saranac Lake and The Grass Hole Cannabis in Plattsburgh. General Manager Eli Emery of Elevate ADK and Manager Madison Worley of The Grass Hole Cannabis are gearing up for their inaugural 4/20 celebrations since both shops opened.”We’re really excited to celebrate the first 4/20 here in Clinton County. It’s really big for the county,” Worley said.Emery, expressing gratitude for the progress made in the cannabis market: “We’re now really grateful that the state’s at least gotten us this far and that we are in a somewhat functioning market, that we’re able to bring product to customers and that we’re able to operate.”Both dispensaries have exciting plans for the day.
