Video with abuse of patient leaked to social networks after quarrel of employees at Kadamjay psychoneurological dispensary
AKIPRESS.COM – A video has spread on social networks which depicts patients being abused in a special institution, the Internal Affairs Directorate of Batken region reported.
The police in Kadamzhai district conducted an inspection based on the video. It was filmed at the Kadamjay psychoneurological dispensary in the winter of 2021.
It was established that force against a patient was used by 62-year-old B.K., who works in psychoneurological dispensary, the police noted. When B.K. was on daily duty, a 32-year-old patient escaped from the dispensary. He found the escapee and decided to intimidate him so that he would not try it again, according to B.K.
The video was distributed on social networks on December 6, after the employees of the Kadamjay psychoneurological dispensary had a quarrel, the regional police reported.
“An investigation is currently underway. A forensic medical examination has been ordered for a 32-year-old patient at the dispensary. The actions of B.K. will be given a legal assessment,” the report says.
