Rochester dispensary burglary leads to arrests, further security measures planned – 13WHAM-TV

Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) — Charges are pending against three suspects in connection to a burglary Thursday afternoon at a cannabis dispensary on Monroe Avenue near Rowley Street, which is now enhancing its security system.

Good Life Collective, the City of Rochester’s first licensed cannabis dispensary, was burglarized in the early hours of Friday morning.

“Around 3:30, we went to the Good Life Collective,” said Captain Greg Bello of the Rochester Police Department. “We ended up taking four people into custody as part of that investigation.”

The three suspects initially taken into custody were 40-year-old Devin Griffith of Rochester, 18-year-old Edward Jones of Syracuse, and a 14-year-old boy, according to police. Bello said responding officers later learned of a 13-year-old suspect and took him into custody as well.

Police believe Griffith is also connected to a burglary on South Avenue that same night. He was also wanted in connection to a May burglary at an East Avenue apartment building, during which he is alleged to have stolen a bicycle.
